Hi Paul,

Not sure if this is a right place to write, but it doesn't make sense to make a new topic. It seems I can't find the Render AOV z-depth inside the plugin.

Materials inside imported objects (Sketchup, Cinema 4D, 3D Studio etc) are GDL materials and not part of Archicad project surfaces and can't be picked up with Material Picker but can be accessed via name when the imported object is selected - Select from Selection under Octane Materials tab.

Great discussion. I was experimenting exactly the same approach and thinking also about the proxy sizes referencing the AC parent/placement object size. Makes sense. I know Maxwell Render Archicad proxy object reads the geometry in and then has a percentage to simplify the 3D viewport geometry ...

I have a 2010 Mac Pro running Catalina 10.15.6 with a Metal supported RX580. I can't get Octane X Enterprise to load at all. It bounces in the dock for a few seconds and then doesn't do anything. The C4D plugins also just prevent C4D from loading at all...It does meet the basic specs to run ...
