Perfect, thank you!
In terms of receiving notifications on when the next update of Octane is released for C4D, is there a mailing list I can join or something else? I didn't realize I was on an older version of Octane before you told me to get the latest version to test this bug.

Re: Parameters changing randomly when clicking on node dropdown
Just tested in 2020.1.3-R2 and brand new scene. Bug still persists. Just a brand new scene with a universal material with an image texture in the node editor, doesn't even need to be connected to the OctUniversal node. Clicking drop down arrow on node still shows parameters sometimes changing ...

Re: Parameters changing randomly when clicking on node dropdown
I shall do so and report back.
Also by chance, since I noticed you responded to this forum post before one of my other ones, were you able to see this post I made earlier? - viewtopic.php?f=86&t=75292
Thanks.

Octane crash with particles
Octane crashes when working with particles and can't be restarted unless C4D is restarted.
The live viewer while rendering suddenly displays, "Render Failure!!! Check Console window and Octane log window."
The octane log states illegal memory access.
I'm attaching a google drive link to a .zip of ...

Re: Enabling post pass causes the post effects to vanish in LV?
Why not?
If you enable the Multi Pass, with Post effect as separate pass, it means that you need a Beauty pass without Post Effect to add it in a second time, isn’t it?
It’s the same for Motion Blur, if you enable the InfoChannel Motion Vector pass, it means that you want a Beauty pass without ...

Re: Enabling post pass causes the post effects to vanish in LV?
Not sure what you mean but post effect is a separate pass and surely will not be contributed to any other passes. Because activating passes that mean you'll combine the passes in a comp. software.
Yeah I've already gone through compositing with passes before, including the Post effects pass. I ...

Enabling post pass causes the post effects to vanish in LV?
If I enable the Post pass in Beauty Passes, I can see that my post effects get disabled in the live viewer, as if they were turned off on my camera. Why does this happen? It's not like enabling the Diffuse pass turns off the Diffuse pass in the live viewer so why does Post get affected? I want to ...

Response value difference?
What is the difference between the values for camera imager > response: gamma 2.2 vs. sRGB?
When toggling between them I can see a slight exposure change in the live viewer on my render. What I don't understand is that I thought gamma 2.2 meant the same thing as sRGB, until suddenly I discover ...
