It's been a long time. I'm trying to get back into some creative work and thought I may upgrade my Octane license but it's really confusing. Can someone please explain.

Questions:
My account shows an upgrade option for Octane Standalone. See attached.

c4d plug in

Hi

I haven't been around here for a long time and I was pleasantly surprised to see the new c4d plug in. It looks well integrated into c4d and I'd like to congratulate the whole team.

I bought octane when it was €50 which was an excellent price therefore please, don't anyone get angry for what I ...

NVIDIA Optimus technology

Hi

It has been said if you have 2 graphics cards in 1 machine, you can use 1 graphics card for display and 1 for rendering.

Re: Holy Macaroni!

Object mesh

Hi,

Can I bring more than one object mesh into a scene in Octane?

Iow, I model a House in Vectorworks and get it into Octane via 1 object mesh. Then I want to add (in Octane) some trees, people, etc. via seperate object meshes or even other Octane files. Would this be possible?

I have C4D at ...

Re: Future of Octane, Maybe...

People like fancy pictures, I know ...

Future of Octane, Maybe...

I know Octane is a long way away from the software used in the below link, but I think this is a good goal to work towards. Any thoughts?

Btw, does anyone have a clue of what software (or similar) was used to create this? I think Circus3D is a gaming ...
