Re: Cinema4D version 2025.2.1 - v1.6
So, is there a way to make the motion blur on liquids also working in octane with this release? No usual way is working on the liquids to get motion blur. Cinema4Ds liquify mesh also just generates a vertex-paint-tag named __velocity__ if you export the velocity. But not the typical velocity.x ...

Re: Pixel Edge around Cryptomatte Layers
Expanding the mask is my workaround for that.
When I import the Raw-Cryptomask-Data in the dialog of EXR-IO there is also this thin 1 Pixel Edge around every object in green. So I guess it seems to be a method of Photoshop to read and split the cryptomatte-layers.

Re: Cinema4D version 2022.1.1-R4 (Latest stable) 28.04.2023
Update to the Motion Blur/Perspective Correction issue.
I discovered, that if I check "Disable Camera M.blur" in the Camera tag on, it behaves as it should. Perspective correction and Motion Blur working together and activating Motion Blur doesn't deactivate the perspective correction. But without ...

It seems, that when I activate motion blur in the active camera, the perspective correction gets deactivated although it is still checked in the camera tag as on.
When you disable and enable motionblur again the perspective correction works as intended with motion blur shown in the Live Viewer. But ...

Pixel Edge around Cryptomatte Layers
Hello everyone,
I just stumbled about a problem, I seem to be unable to find a solution (or maybe there is none due to the nature how it is created) or maybe I've never had the case where it was obvious and it was there all the time.
I am doing for example a simple scene a cube on a plane in ...

Re: Opacity problems on polygon selection and multiple materials
Hi Ahmet,
I totally understand you, and I am in absolute awe as always, that you keep as greedy and needy cinema 4d users up-to-date with that plugin.
You know, I totally respect your work, and especially the amount you have to research into, when developing these "little" things into the plugin ...

Re: Opacity problems on polygon selection and multiple materials
Hey Ahmet,
thank you for your reply,
okay, I will give it a try.
But as I understand, I have no possibility to put a label with opacity over two different materials?
I can only have one material applied to the object without a selection, than I can put one material with opacity on it, and it ...

Opacity problems on polygon selection and multiple materials
Hello everyone,
well, I just stumpled into another opacity problem, I don't get wrapped my head around. After a long time of troubleshooting, I have no idea what I am doing wrong.
I have modelled a polygon object, and made 3 different polygon-selection. Each selection gets a different material ...

Re: Long-standing basic problem: white balance
Hey everyone,
well, to be honest, it is not as bad as you describe it.
There is a WB Option within the camera imager (like in the real world, you would set the WB in your camera, not in your lights, and I know what I am talking about because I am also working as a professional advertisment ...
