Are you just supposed to install both? Maybe one is stand-alone and other is the actual Maya plug?

Ah hey all, sorry for the newb question here, but which one do I install for Maya 2018.6? (I'll upgrade to 2019 when Autodesk releases their next update)

I would think 14.36 is newer but they appear to have the same ...

Hey All,
For a couple weeks now I've been baffled by Daz3Ds "Catmark" subdivision algorithm. Does octane offer the same algorithm?
From my tests with octane in maya, and using maya's own subdivision algorithms, there is nothing similar. Octane's subdivision in maya looks the same as daz's catmull ...

adding file nodes helps with the archive feature in Maya, but is there any way to setup relative file paths so I can move my project folder anywhere and the octane image texture nodes will still locate the files in my sourceimages folder in my project folder?

This is the latest RC for Maya not c4d and indeed yes this has nothing to do with daz. it’s definetely and octane issue or it concerns linear color space which i know nothing about. the daz textures are all jpgs.
