Hello,
I just noticed that the Spotlight in new Octane render is just fine to work with, but there is a little issue here.
all the other type of light are working with light linking except the spotlight on C4D R19. is it working for you guys?

I would like to hear from you guys how do you develop and prepare your Shaders and use them later as needed in different scenes and contexts. And if there is a set-up where I can create the materials and have confidence that they will work fine with different lights.

Nice job! cool textures and the materials are good enough the achieve a good result. modestly, the only issue that I can see is the light. there are too many bright lights coming from ''I don't know''.
I guess you should focus on the type of the light you would achieve, it is Day or night. Morning ...

that's right, it's hard to tell that. you have to check several attributes to be sure your scene will be clear... I will start by turning off all the lights in the scene and turn them on one by one until you found the one that is causing the issue.

I would like to thank also Calus, but unfortunately, the script you provided is not working 100%, it has some Opacity issues to fix yet, but you inspired me to use better the Milan Method...

Add an OSLTexture to Opacity

set Ray to: Reflection
