Ah awesome Beppe - thank you!!bepeg4d wrote:Hi,
if you need to keep the spline parametric, eg. for animation purpose, you can parent the MoGraph Cloner to a Connect object, and apply the Octane Object tag to it: ciao,

Octane Object Tag
Hello - is it by design or a limitation that the Hair option on the Octane Object tag disappears when applied to a cloner with a spline as a child?
Also, the Hair option does not appear when the tag is placed directly on the spline too.
Thanks.

Please add sliders back to the values under Custom Pattern > Iridescent material. They seem to be missing in Octane 2022 (2021 had sliders).
I am using Cinema4D R21.
Thanks!

Cloner set to blend mode
Hi - please can someone help me with this basic scene file.
I have 2 hemispheres in a cloner set to Blend clone mode. I want to get Octane to alternate the colour of each clone so that it goes black, white, black, white etc...

Octane Volume
Hello - is it possible to convert an Octane Volume to a mesh/geometry, so I can apply a material and render?
If so, any pointers how to do this (I've tried exporting as OBJ, VDB but no luck). Thanks!

Re: C4D Noise Looping
Note that we don't claim our implementation pretty perfect to match the c4d noises. Seems like there's a missing brick. But we cannot fix it without break backward compatibility
Not a problem, I wanted to know if it was "end user error" or a "missing brick". Thanks for your time and love your ...

That was it! Thanks Frank.frankmci wrote:From what I can see, the lack of looping is related to the "Use OSL for C4D noise/gradient (Experimental)" option in Octane Settings/Settings/C4D Shaders. If you turn that off, it loops as expected.
