Hello,
Has there been an answer to this question?
I have several colors in a gradient that I want to animate with noise over top an objects. How do I achieve this in octane?
Thanks,
Rick

Re: DPC_WATCHDOG_VIOLATION BSOD [SOLVED]
Hello,
I was hoping this would solve this issue for me as well. After 12 hours of rendering with no crashes or errors, I finally did get a crash with the same error. I do seem to be able to render more frames however so I guess that is a plus.

Re: xp Trail Scale / Thickness
Seems the falloff is just cutting between the two values...any ideas?
This is killing me.

Re: xp Trail Scale / Thickness
I think in addition to this solution, it may be a better solution to keep the size an accurate size per the world, but have the particles dissipate as the camera approaches like they do in the viewer. Is this possible?
Actually the way the viewer looks is perfect...as the camera moves away further ...

Hello,
I'm trying to set the xpTrail on one of my emitters to size dynamically as the camera approaches. I want them to decrease in size so they don't look so big.
I know you can do this somehow using a deformer linked to the camera.
Can you explain the process in detail for the xpTrail which would ...

Hello,
I'm in over my head. I bought Octane for a project and now I'm unsure I can finish due to so many little things I don't know how to do. You know when it becomes so overwhelming that you can't even think?
I was wondering, and I hope it's appropriate to post this here, if there are any octane ...

This is fantastic,
Quick question...the background image looks amazing. How can I now make it an image sequence so I can put in a video for example?

Re: VisibleBackground c4d Xpresso
Hello,
Will this setup fix the edges of models when using the c4d background object? I can see my background object perfectly but the model edges are all totally not usable when I tick the Kernel Alpha Channel option. Edges were perfect before doing that however.
Thoughts?
Rick
