It depends on what kind of work you have to do but I have been using it at work and had no issues so far besides the issues mentioned here in the bug reports. So I'd say it is pretty stable so far. :)

If you are using Blender 2.8 then the next version you should be using is 20.5. The others are for Blender 2.79

[20.0 v10] Filtering out HDRI environment

It seems that you cannot filter out the HDRI Environment from glass. Steps i have taken that should have worked :

1. Specular material on the object -> tick Affect Alpha
2. Kernel Settings -> Path Tracing (&PMC) enable Alpha Channel and untick Keep Environment.

Am i missing some steps or is this ...

Octane plugin uses Blender particle system (emitter and hair) or dupliverts as scatter solution. Both have cons and pros. I mostly use particle system (hair) to scatter objects which feel the most flexible for me.

About lights, Blender plugin uses meshes as light emitters. You have to create ...

Hi Lino! First congratulations on the new Octane for Blender version, it is awesome!

I wanted to ask will there be any news for the subscription version?

Also when will you integrate the stable 2.8 and will livedb, hair and motion blur be fixed?

Hi Lino!

Since now we have a date for the first RC for 2.8 from the Blender people, do you have information on whether you will follow that schedule for releasing Octane for Blender 2.8?
