Aaah, that explains it, its working perfect now though

Whenever i try to open Octane I am getting this error message: "The preferences file doesn't exist or is corrupt and needs to be updated. Please connect to the internet and launch Octane again." Why am I getting this? It was working just fine earlier today.
Please help me if you have got any clue ...
