Ok so updated to 1.1.1.1326 and the lightmapper isn't crashing which is excellent!

Baked a lightmap at 1000 samples, but after rendering, it doesn't look in the scene view like the model in the PBR render target. As you can see the model in the scene view is darker and not crisp and white like the ...

Both - but mostly animations of 3d models for inclusion in AR experiences.

Goal is to get 3d models in AR as photorealistic as possible. Wanted to use this Opera House eg as a learning experience.

Current approach is 1) use PBR global lightmapper to bake the building, then 2) use real-time AR ...

Quick update, it's crashing mid-way through the Octane PBR lightmapping process.

Has anyone managed to get global baking with OTOY working with Unity?

Tried twice to record with windows xbox game mode but annoying the crash stops it. So in the video you can't see the error.

Update re license issues. Thought it may be on the OTOY web end so logged in at https://account.otoy.com and deleted the Unity linked account.
Still change.. still fails.

So a new unity account should work right?
Wrong. Created new unity email, then a new Unity project, loaded the OTOY installer ...

The oprah house building does not seem to have valid Lightmap UVs.
You can have unity generate them by selecting the oprah model and toggle Generate Lightmap Uvs.
Sydney_Opera_House.skp -> Model -> Generate Lightmap UVs
