You can "fix" this by manually setting Align to Cursor in the Adjust Last Operation panel.
I understand this isn’t ideal, but for now, it’s the only reliable workaround. Just press F9 right after adding the light and set the Align option to Cursor.

That said, we’ll definitely look into it.

To make changing compatibility mode effective, we need to stop and restart the preview.

Does the installation happen if you allow it?

I always have to authorize the installation to make it happen.
