I think there is a problem with the location of the Localdb. I changed the location in the Tools section in the render setup and when you click the button to 'Explore localdb' it takes you to the right location. In the preferences_v2 file the database is listed in the correct place but still nothing ...

Thanks for your reply. I have already got them saved in the Localdb from the Unity version. Is there something specific I need to do to import them? When I open the Localdb in max the folder structure doesn't even show up.

Importing Orbx material into 3dsmax plugin

Hi,

Is there currently any way of bringing a material saved in the Unity version (Orbx) into the 3dsmax plugin? I have a Localdb with a lot of materials but the 3dsmax version does not recognise any of the orbx files. They work fine in the standalone version.

Not as far as I am aware. It continues to be greyed out after restarting Unity. Do I need to close the Recorder window for it to deactivate? It has started working again at the minute but this happens quite often.

PBR Render Target Component Inspector greyed out

I am having an issue with the PBR Render Target Component Inspector being greyed out and not functioning. Uninstalling and reinstalling Octane from the scene doesn't help neither does creating a new Render Target. It works fine if I start a new project. The problem seems to occur after using the PBR ...

It was as simple as converting the materials to PBR and then dragging pre-made nodes from my Localdb into the editor and then hooking them up to the materials. I am in the process of rebuilding the scene with only the essential assets at the minute. I will report back if this solves the issue.
