Re: Octane 2026.5 for Cinema4D - 2.0.0

I might be missing something, but I can not get the lighting (real-time) view to work. I have tried installing standalone to match. I have 2 A5000's, but one 1 A5000 card active in both c4D and standalone. I'm using Windows, and C4D 2026.4. I hit the lighting button and it is black. I have tried ...

Re: Octane 2026.1 for Cinema4D - v1.8

Can you confirm that the new NRC only works with a single GPU? With multiple GPUs (a5000's) I have a visible seam running down the middle in both live preview and render.

**Update - it looks like it might be an issue with static noise on? If I disable static noise, , NRC seems to be working at ...

Re: Analytics light and Transparent material problem

I tried to open the C4D file to take a look, but I received the following warning "This document may have been created with an unauthorized version of Cinema 4D. For more information or to report software piracy, please visit: https://www.maxon.net/piracy"

Re: Cinema4D version 2024.1-[R2] latest stable (12.09.2024)

Just updated both C4D 2025 and Octane to the latest. From my few minutes of testing, it appears much more stable now, and I am not experiencing the lag issues and crashes with material and opengl previews turned on. Well done and thanks for the quick fix!

Re: Cinema4D version 2024.1 latest stable (12.09.2024)

I'm getting a lot of crashes doing simple tasks (like dropping a material onto an object, or changing IOR). I believe I have isolated it to having cards with RTX mixed with non-RTX cards and having RTX acceleration turned on. These crashes are new with either C4D 2025 or the 2024.1 release, as I ...

Re: Reflective ground with white backdrop help

Have you tried making it a mirror and putting either a light or a lit white surface behind it?

Re: Cinema4D version OctaneRender® 2024.1_Alpha3 (21.02.2024)

Hi Ahmet,

Is there any way you can enable the pins for Albedo and Normal on the Open Image Denoiser. There is currently no way to assign those.

Thanks for making this so quickly! It looks like the PostFX Media AOV is missing from Render AOVs.

Re: Cinema4D version 2023.1-Alpha2-[R1] 29.06.2023

Hi Ahmet,

Thank you for this! A few questions:

1. Looks like there is a limit of 4 Analytic Lights with light beams, is this correct? I know there is a limit to 8 analytic lights for now.

2. It appears that primitive lights are facing the wrong direction on the z axis when using area shape of ...
