Hi, no that is not what I need. I drive the displacement with the C4D Displacer, cause I have some Dynamics Animations on the moving surface.
I need a connection between these two things. Between the Octane Shader and the C4D Displacer if it´s possible.

I want to share a solution for my topic "otcane metaballs ..
I would like to share with you the solution of Bepe (Otoy) to my last topic “otcane metaballs and Light pass”.
Since Octane interprets metaballs as one object, you can't work with Light Pass here.
Bepe's approach was to create a color transition. In my opinion, this also works as a solution for me ...

My challenge is the lightning. The drops have an other material and they need more light. So I create one with Light pass ID 1 for the ...

Re: Shadow Pass Noise
I tested the scene on my other workstation with octane 2020.1.5. and there it looks much cleaner.
Is the noise a problem of octane v4 in this case?

Shadow Pass Noise
Hi there,
how can I get rid of this noise? I've tried everything I've found on the web.

Something I notice now is the cube will be rendered in 4 seconds after I delete all of my original scene objects. Before that it was 54 seconds even though all objects were switched ...
