Render-target evaluation on server... for no reason.

Hi there, just as the title says, it works fine in viewport ( most of the time ), all the meshes are set to Movable. It was working fine all the time, today out of the blue it started the evaluation even I did not change anything at all.

I've tried to override it to Movable in the Render ...

I reported this bug as well. There are enough production breaking bugs like this after 27.16 which makes it impossible to upgrade to later version.

I recommend 27.16 as the most stable so far.
That's what I'm going to try thanks.

Btw for Free Tier I've found the download here in case someone has ...

[BUG] Octane Output doesn't write frame numbers.

Hi there,

So if I enable Cryptomatte and other AOV's and keep the default suffix/prefix it will just render the sequence to a file name "FileName_ blenderoutputname 00000_ViewLayer_000" without changing the numbers.

Also if I try to remove the Prefix completely and in Suffix add something like ...

Like a month ago i've read some rurmors that its almost ready, any ideas/info?

Also how the free tier will work exactly? Will it be standalone only or some plugins too? ( both free ).

Lighting is bad i can instantly tell.
I would start with HDRI lighting first, then mby adding sun o the HDRI to see if that makes it better and as final lighting add emission to these ceiling lights.
Also make sure the scale of objects is right, to make sure the shadows etc has realistic softness ...

Who was that genius who made displacement for Octane? Max limit - 8K, rly?
Also why the fuck it's set like 0.001 by default instead of 1.0, its so fkn annoying to put values like 0.0000001 also needs to switch back everytime to 0.001 to get it to refresh and then go back to like 0.000012 etc.

Hello guys, maybe someone had to work with smartphone lenses? Looking for an advice how i should model and "texture" them.
Goal is obviously photorealism including the reflection color changes based on angle.
