Re: OctaneRender™ 2019.2 XB2 [latest 2019.2.x]
Hey guys. I am getting an all GPU failed message when enabling emission on a shader(diffuse mat with texture emission). If it doesn't fail right away, it fails when I check Double Sided Emission. I also have an odd problem with the render size changing and not obeying my established 1920x1200 size ...

Re: OctaneRender™ 2019.1 XB1
Thank you, I turned off the info passes one by one until I found the problem. The motion vector pass is the one that causes the crash! I never use that one anyways so turned it off and im good to go

Re: Alembic import into Standalone
Hey Bepe, thank you so much! I gave groups a shot because that seems similar to the poly sel sets and it worked! Just need to assign a different group to each separate pin you want to have. Material ID's working and everything. Love it. Thanks again

Alembic import into Standalone
Hi, I'm looking to take 2 objects out of Houdini (lets say, a sphere and a cube) and write it out as an alembic and import it into octane standalone. I'm expecting 2 material inputs but I can't make it work. Everything gets imported as one object. Ultimately I want to be able to have inputs for each ...

Re: Which feature do you need the most?
I really hope some Houdini/Nuke node features can be implemented into Octane in the near future.
