Is this experimental release available for normal standalone license owners?
When trying to use it I'm getting error that i need All Access license (I currently own standalone octane 4 license).

Re: RTX OctaneBench 2019 Preview
419.17 driver update fixed octane errors. Works great now!
My result for 2080 TI:
No OC: OC Scanner: It's amazing if we can go in avarage from 16ms to 43ms with RTX support!

Re: RTX OctaneBench 2019 Preview
Eh, they're overpriced anyway. :)
For games only, RTX is just scam to be honest (for now).
DLSS looks horribly blurry. Don't see any benefit to it at the moment in comparison to just lowering your resolution and blurring it. Checkerboarding produces better results then DLSS.

Re: RTX OctaneBench 2019 Preview
I don't have any 20xx series cards but would be very interested if someone can make a google doc and start comparing actual render times of production scenes from C4D or Max or whatever.

Sadly still getting old good 418.* driver error.
Anyhow. Thanks for sharing! Nowadays, any info about true RTX benefit is good news. And 2.5x speedup for pathtracing increases card value so much!
I would also love to see how much faster denoiser is on Tensor Cores ...

Re: Blender Rendering Performance
Ok, Figured out what was wrong.
I had different values for diffuse/spec sampling. After matching them up I've same render rate in blender and octane.

Blender Rendering Performance
I've noticed that blender octane has twice as slower in comparision to rendering in octane directly.
I'm using latest stable version:
- Blender Octane: 11.24_2.78a
- Octane Renderer: 3.05.3.win
In Blender, when rendering i get speed of 6 Ms/sec. In octane directly it's around 13 Ms/s.

Re: Good to see Octane everywhere
It must be fun working on uncharted
I enjoyed both games.
Radiance is probably not answering because of hard work put to baking feature
I hope.
