Camera follows (is attached) an object which flys through a landscape.
Object should be completly sharp but the landscape should get camera motion blur.

Whatever I try, always the object gets blurred as well.

got last days, after neary a year, again lots of crashes with C4D 2025.0.2 and latest Octane 2024.1.3-R3.
I'm using Driver 32.0.15.6094 (2 x 4090) which worked very well and stable for a long time with C4D 2024 and Octane 2023.

Does anyone else have this problem with this combi?

My fault:
did not use this PC for a longer time and forgot to check/update Nvidia drivers.
With newest drivers its working now.

For some reasons the old nvidia drivers worked with Octane 2022, but not with 2023.

I have latest 21.207 istalled on a second machine and intend to render jobs seperatly on this PC.

So I transfered my C4D scene (with all textures - saved with assets included) to that machine
and with C4D R21.207 and Octane Version 2023.1.2 all textures were broken.

here in all latest Octane versions 2023 ... when using
with C4D R21.207 "Image Texture" Node seams to be broken.
No Renderings are possible because this "Image Texture"-Node stays black
even if I reload the bitmap or create a new texture node.

Any info on that?

Just to explain:
I was close to the madness because the animation with cached softbodys
looked fine and correct when playing the animation in the main viewport in Quickshading mode.
But when I rendered the animation to the PV, the softbodys ...

sorry solved!

Was a problem with C4D Matrix Object, that the softbodys were jumping back
to its original form every frame. Was only recognizable when stepping from frame to frame.

I still have problems to get MB working correct.


I have a slow rotating bird with fast flapping wings.

Whatever I try either the complete bird gets blurred, or if the bird is sharp,
the wings have no motion blur.
And always the first frame gets no motionblur which is a problem ...
