So I have these very thing rings with emitting shader applied. And it seems no matter what I do they won't go below a certain width. I was wondering if there's a setting which could help with that?

I'm generating hairs from splines created by xparticles. I can divide them into groups and give each a colour but would rather avoid it.

I'd like different strands of hair to have different colours. However even after watching the cinema 4d hair in octane tutorial I can't seem to get it to wok. It only shows one colour.
Help would be appreciated.
