Hey guys!
I couldn't find an answer here in the forum, so here is my question:
How do I manage to tell octane I need a layer mask pass that considers the alpha on specular objects? In the scne below, I need a mask for the cube inside the sphere, but, as you can see, the mask just won't come out ...

Here's the file:

If you color pick from anywhere in the liveviewer, you'll see it's not 100% white.
Thanks!

Re: Linear Workflow & Blue Tint
Here's a before and after where I changed the saturation to zero on the camera imager (though I cannot use that when there's color). Just so you guys can see there's definetly some blue color coming from somewhere :(

Linear Workflow & Blue Tint
Hey guys,
So, I was aiming for the linear workflow to get 100% fidelity, but no matter what I try, the color white always seems to have this blue tint, with 10% (!!!) saturation.
Here's a print of the problem:

Hope you guys can help, thanks!

Re: GPU upgrade suggestion
Thanks for the reply and the tips!
Didn't realize used cards could have this issue
I don't plan on spending that much money, like on a Titan X, but good to know about the cudas...I'd just simply look for the one with the most cudas for my buck then.
I'll take a look into the price fluctuation ...

GPU upgrade suggestion
Hi there,
I've been reading a lot of topics about my issue here and looking for information about this, but I though I might ask more specifically about my situation, so here it goes:
I currently have a GTX 970 but I'm really feeling the need for the upgrade, so, considering my budget, I've been ...
