Octane v1.55 - Sketchup Plugin
I have been a user since the beta and have not upgraded to a newer more expensive version (I'm a poor man, but it works just fine anyway). I recently installed Sketchup Make and don't have my old hat plugin (before there was an official one). Is there any way to make this work now without buying one?

Re: Graduation project - Conference Centre
Phenomenal! If you were going for realistic, you have achieved it....but.....more people!!!!! Especially if a government building, you don't want to make it appear as though your building is not "for the people" if you catch my drift.

Non Perspective?
Parallel Projection? I need to do a site render and I do not want to have it a line drawing..... I've rendered it with other renderers, but they seems to not be working and I want the quality to be consistent. Is this possible in Octane?

Re: Materials export
tim, I just came across the same issue. It dealt with faces within groups, and often groups within groups. To solve it, I never tried fixing, I just exploded the group and then regrouped. One of my groups has almost a million faces and that took FOREVER to do. I need faster ram!!

Re: Scene Change
Thank you for the reply, but the concern is how to keep the scene change, not material change. My model is staying the same in sketchup primarily, but the "scene" from sketchup is changing for the export. The import into the ocs file updates the obj, but the "scene" stays the old way. For instance ...

Re: Octane Sketchup Exporter - Full 1022-12
I agree with above. I was actually just on here finding out how to do cut sections as it is in my opinion unbelievably important to have section perspectives and therefore, renderable. The only workaround I have found is to explode my model, make a plane (rectangle) group it to not interfere while ...

Re: Sand blasted Glass?
I tried reading up on the mix materials and have toyed around with it with what little time I have in between renders for a deadline and can't seem to get sandblasted glass.... Noone quite answered the initial question.
