Thank you aoktar, of course you make a awesome job on the octane plugin.
Of course, this workflow will work for the moment.
So, thank you again for your effort

Re: C4D 2024 - FBX import only with node materials
I just wanted to answer your question. Sorry if this was misunderstood. But the fact is that Maxon fully relies on Redshift and adapts Cinema 4D to it. They also want to get closer to the workflows of modern renderers. The old Strandard material system has had its day.

Re: C4D 2024 - FBX import only with node materials
very simple. There will be no more standard material in the future.
Currently only for compatibility reasons.
maxon is already replacing the standard renderer with CPU Redshift.
They will never row back.
maxon clearly wants to move away from the old material system.

C4D 2024 - FBX import only with node materials
I noticed that C4D 2024 apparently only imports FBX as node material.
Sooner or later we need a way to convert node materials into octane materials.
Is there a solution for this.
This also applies to Redshift materials, as Redshift is being integrated deeper and deeper into C4D.

Triplanar Node shows only x+
Maybe a stupid question but the Triplanar Node shows me only x+ and Transform. It should have slots for all axes, right?

background Image to match the 3D scene inside DAZ3D
Hi folks,
I know it was asked several times in the past.
I tried to use a background image to match the 3D model.
No problem in Cinema4D or in Standalone.
No problem in Daz is you use Iray.
Is there really no workaround to use a background image in Daz and octane (No 360 enviroment)?
maybe I am to ...

ORBX in Octane Render 4. DeMain Pass not startet.
Hi Folks,
Maybe a stupid question. I try to render a huge Image (8898x5792px in Octane Standalone.
The Orbx comes from DAZ3D.
I see the passes I had choosen (Main, DeMain, Dif etc.)
Main is of course a little bit noisy. But i want to use DeMain, but the quickinfo told me
always that it is not ...

Re: One GPU stops rendering after the first few frames
The same here.
Octane renders exactly 51 frames of 2070 and then nothing more happends.
No crash or something.
I7 / 1070 / R20 / 16GB Ram / Win10
Hope it exits a solution because my deadline is short
