hi nexusdesigns,
if you leave the Keep Environment option active, the HDRI image used is displayed, so in your case, you see black in one direction and white in the opposite.

When u render linear/linear i d strongly suggest use EXR. Anything else in 16 bit is not gonna represent the true tonal range. EXR Is an industry standard and non replaceable with any other format.

Besides this, check ur camera imager (octane camera tag), put it on linear (no LUTS) and gamma 2.2 ...

Why do i get different Post results after rendering the pass

Hey, I please need help, I got a project working on and I need to have the Post pass rendered separately for post work later but when I render it. I get a very different look below is a screenshot of the problem and the example scene. I hope someone can please help me with this.
