Did you try the old model in the daylight tag with Directlighting and GI_AMBIENT_OCCLUSION? Without the emissive walls..
Not super realistic but very fast...

There is a cheat which seems to reduce noise and render times by 70% but you have to be carefull because it can make your render look flat. I think if you can balance this technique out. It should work.

These are main tips to get better render times and less noise. Always evaluate and change illumination sources to see differences. There's no exact one solution. It can be differ by scenes and objects.

Spending the your time on everything and testing will help much to understand how works and affects the things. Your render times are crazy long for this kind of scene.
Don't use high poly counts on emissive geometry.
