Re: GPU Render Issue
I have restarted the computer, reopened the project and begun the export again - this time also including one network render slave and it is now continuing at the same speed without dropping or losing a GPU. Could this be a bug?

Re: GPU Render Issue
Hi Aoktar.
This is what I found in the Octane log (Have I missed something? Is there a seperate render log?):
Could not load 'A:\C4D Project\tex\old_copper_bump.jpg:mono'.

GPU Render Issue
Hi guys
We're having a problem here whereby when starting a render out from Cinema 4D with Octane the frames start off fine - rendering for example at around 1 minute each. After about 50 frames roughly the speed starts to decline by about 10 seconds each and eventually one of the GPU's stops being ...

Transparent Texture without Backfaces
We're trying to recreate an effect on a character using a white material and have them slightly transparent without seeing any back faces of the mesh. See the example video below
Example: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8gDR3hSdDyk&feature=youtu.be

Re: Alpha Texture Issue
OK, my workaround for this problem was to duplicate the mesh and apply just the alpha logo texture onto the object. I inverted the selection tag selection and deleted these polys so just to be left with the mesh where the logo is sitting. Then moved the new logo object 0.01cm in Z outwards from the ...

Re: Alpha Texture Issue
Hey Niestudio,
Thanks for helping out! The selection tags are very specific to the mesh and would be almost impossible to create an alpha for them. Is there another solution to the problem that you can think of? I'm pretty stumped at the moment!

Re: Alpha Texture Issue
OK I've recreated a scene that encounters the same problem with the alpha of the image not working.

Any help would be warmly appreciated - Thanks in advance.

Re: Alpha Texture Issue
Hi Bepeg,
Yes - sorry about the no images - Maybe I can recreate it on another mesh if I can't figure out the problem through trying!
The mix materials worked great for the part where it had a single colour underneath - though for a part where there are intersecting colours of red, blue and darker ...
