I'm trying to figure out why octane is crashing. Something within the null "NewScene-Stack" is causing the issue. I've tried switching to C4D 2023 but that doesn't help. It seems to be a problem with the latest Octane.
I'm on Windows 10 with an RTX 4090 running C4D 2024.5.1 (the buggiest Cinema yet ...

I've had issues with newer drivers as well. Went back to 552.22 and things have been fine for a couple of months. I'm considering moving up to 560.7, but wanted to see if anyone has updates here. Anyone running the latest driver from 7/16 without problems?

I think I understand what you're suggesting with polygon deformation. Would this work with multiple effectors though? I'm using multiple effectors to get the clones to animate in a particular way (disregard the Shader effector; that was for the last method you suggested):

This method worked for sticking the image across the clones. However, the image is very low-res (rasterized). Is that a function of the method where the detail in the image is dependent on the number of clones, or is there something I can do to increase the resolution? The image below is my octane ...
