Re: Octane 2026.1 for Cinema4D - v1.8.2
Getting very consistent crashing with this latest build and C4D 2026.1. Main cause is when I'm switching 2 or more c4d scenes. This is what Gemini thinks "The crash log is 100% conclusive: it is nvcuda64.dll failing during oidn_init_module_device_cuda (Octane AI Denoiser initialization)." I'm not ...

Re: Octane 2025.4 for Cinema4D - v1.7.2
I'm experiencing some crashes with this build and current C4D (2026.1.0), across different project files that don't have much going on (only modelling work, so some meshes, SubDivs, a remesh object and that's it). So I don't believe that they are scene specific.
The crashes tend to occur, however ...

Re: Octane 2026.1 for Cinema4D - v1.8.2
I have a big VRAM problem with both this version and the previous 1.8.1. if I try to render above 4k the VRAM usage increases exponentially. above 7k even all the available 24gb are used up. is this a known problem? Thank you
This seems to be an issue in Octane core. I have fowarded the problem ...

Octane 2026.1 for Cinema4D - v1.8.2

Re: Octane 2026.1 for Cinema4D - v1.8.1
Getting a fair amount of crashing with this build and C4D 2026.1. Tricky for me to pinpoint. In one scene I had some bad geometry that I removed and that seemed to fix it, in another scene though I'm getting a few crashes while rendering in the picture viewer.
Please let me know how I can better ...

Could you share a scene with us that has this issue?Kalua wrote: Tue Dec 02, 2025 6:16 am I see now, all shaders automatically got a deactivated displacement node with empty texture node?
By the way, older ORBX files are rendering just fine in Stand Alone.
