BUG:
OctaneLight has no size when opening a scene from Octane 2025. But it is displayed with proper size in viewport. Had this in several files now.

Re: OctaneRender® 2026.2 for 3ds max® v26.7 - 3dsMax 2027 support
Thanks. I thoughts it's a problem on my side with the Corona Update I did. Glad it can be fixed!
I did some manual adjustments for now. Corona Materials are very shiny usually with a roughness set to 0.0 all the time, which makes it neccesary to adjust them all one by one after first conversion ...

Re: OctaneRender® 2026.2 for 3ds max® v26.7 - 3dsMax 2027 support
I made upgrade to this version and also updated to current VRay and Corona renderer. I don't have license for them and never use them but as far as I know they are needed for material conversion.
Now I have problems that the material is unsupported. But it used to work for years before. This is ...

Re: OctaneRender® 2026.2 for 3ds max® v26.7 - 3dsMax 2027 support
I lost the overview a bit here in the threads.
I'm still running 3dsmax 2024 because of all the lagging reports with newer versions. So also on Octane 2025.5- 16.12.
Reading here all the posts it seems its a bit dangerous for updating to latest version? Especially if I render out of core with ...

Re: OctaneRender® for 3ds max® v2026.1 - 26.04
There are issues and crashes with 360° panoramic renders. I had no time to track them down in which combinations they make Octane crash due to an ongoing project.
But reverting to the latest pre-2026 version made it work again.

Thanks for the support. It doesn't work when I use the "Support Type: Legacy", right? At least for me.

My two 5090RTX also don't go up to 100% but no in terms of power consumption and heat. They consume mostly around 300 Watts per Card. But deliver full performance in terms of clocking.
In Furmark the go up to nearly 600 Watts power consumption.

Re: forest ivy itoo 9 not working with octane
Its not supported. I would like to see proper ForestIvy support too. The ivy walls can get very huge if you need to render them as geometry. This is how it works at the moment.

Yes you can only render full geometry for ForestIvy. I had a project with a huge wall and had to switch back to a common 3D model.

Re: OctaneRender® for 3ds max® v2025.2.1 - 16.07
Will there be ForestIVY supported anytime soon? I have to convert to geometry, which eats up a lot of resources on a single Ivy wall.
