I guess you could call it 3rd party. But it is an extension thats made by maxon, just adds further functionality to the tokens.
They do work! which is great, but it seems the octane render passes seem to have an issue with it.
Thanks for looking into it. Maybe ill try and push for maxon to just add ...

It looks like you dont have "CV Tokens" installed?
It's a series of additional tokens you can get from cineversity with a subscription and CV-Toolbox.

Here's a simple scene to demonstrate.
You will see the first 2 files will render into their own folder, and the rest creates a new v02 folder with the files named as v02.

Continuing on from this,
If I use CV Tokens, specifically the Increment 2-digit $cv01
Whether in the file name or folder structure... the 1st few frames will render out correctly, usually 2 frames, then the rest of the render will increment 1 digit and continue on from there.
E.g..
\Filename_v01 ...

i thought this solution was brilliant!
Now my render frames actually start relatively quickly..... but each frame is actually taking longer to render...... it is quite bizzare.
its 100% the motion blur, as if you disable blur, it's fine. I've also noticed switching to just "camera motion blur ...

It seems to be any parameter that is keyframable.
I just started a new project:
- dropped in a cube
- started the viewport renderer
- keyframe position
- move forward 20 frames
- move position
no matter if you type in a parameter, or drag the slider, it reverts back to the original ...
