Re: Cinema4D version 2025.2 - v1.5.1
Getting crashes when adding multiple objects to the particle rendering tab. Also when it occasionally doesn't crash it will only render the first object in the tab and not cycle through the objects.
Unless I've missed something with how the particles now work.
Scene attached.
I can confirm ...

Re: Cinema4D version 2020.2.4-R2 (Latest stable) 20.06.2021
Probably not new in this build, but i had my renders ruined with a VDB that has volume emission enabled.
When a mesh with a medium intersects the voxels, i get very strange artifacts. Octane really is super glitchy and slow with volumes.. Either the volumes intersect themselves, or they cause ...

Re: Constant longer Scene Preparation because of Hair and Cloth
i have the same issue at the moment.
A few hair objects and alembics in the scene - fully cached. It takes 8min to prepare at frame 1000+, which increases our rendering costs dramatically.
With octane disabled it renders instantly.
Statusbar says: Octane:>> ProcessUpdate(flags=M cAsyn=0 dDelay=0 ...

Re: ORC ORBX Export using Take System
Thanks for your reply.
C4D Hair works as well? I rely on the c4d hair mat for the styling, will that get baked into orbx?

Re: ORC ORBX Export using Take System
Ill render a pretty big project soon with fairly big scenes containing hair sims and many instances.
Is it possible to use the take system for RNDR now & render cinema 4D hair objects?
If not, I will look into other options

Re: Cloud: Overlapping Bounding Box
2020.1.5-R4 and still an issue.....
We know that we can use overlapping VDB's, but the required step length setting multiplies rendertimes by 100x.
Any updates on this?
