Is there any chance that we can facilitate system memory instead of VRAM for Octane render?

For us working architectural scene always suffer from VRAM shortage for GPU render. Is this something that future update is considering?

I am not an engineer so maybe it is technically impossible or just ...

Most of the professional architectural scene is over 8gb. that is mesh+textures+output image etc..
I really want to use octane for architectural animation, but it will not happen until they have 12gb card, which i think will not going to happen in near future..

I will be using externel Corsair PSU 850W to power them. except the helper card(will be powered by Mac PSU).

When using GTX 490 in my MAC Pro 2008(window 7 dedicated)

with Octane 3dmax 2011 plugin, it gets pretty slow when I render with two GPUs. It seems much slower

(GTX 490 have two seperate GPUs right?) than using one GPU.
