Re: Manor House

Hi Rico

Love what youv'e done with the place> ;)

I have a request, if you don't mind. I really like the third image you rendered, but I was hoping that you could reconfigure the view to a more vertical shot.

The reason I ask is that I feel that this image really deserves to be in the Gallery ...

The book is recommending sketches with a focus on simplifing masses and tonal quality, but I ...

I really appreciate the effect of what appears to be dark tinted glass on the shower doors combined with the glass block.

It has been my experience that physics is supposed to be mind numbing and painful. It looks like you are trying to make this fun. Don't tell the boss. 8-)

Re: WC concrete

I am studying lighting myself now, and I recently came by some very worthwhile information that you and others may be interested in.

I found a book in the photography section of a Waldenbooks store, owned by Borders, and I was very impressed with the approach to covering the subject of lighting. I ...

Re: Exterior shots

Very impressive work! You might need to float something in the scene off the floor so we would know it is CG. The car would be convincing. :)

The roof shingles look weathered. I have only seen materials that look like new products. Would you mind telling us a little more as to how you achieved ...

Re: Playing with Trains

When I first saw the images you posted I liked them, but there was something about them that I could not quite put my finger on. It finally dawned on me that what you have done could be used to create special effects for the sky if part of the image is used as a backdrop. Very cool!

Re: Roman Museum

If by shot placement you mean scene compostion, then I would recommend that you check out the art section in one of the larger bookstores. I have been searching for information like this myself and found some books that are helping me a lot.

As strange as it may seem, the books that have the best ...
