Also, I don't know if motion blur works with these new particles yet? I tried with no success.

Re: Cinema4D version 2024.1-[R2] latest stable (12.09.2024)

Hi, thank you for this realease!

When you use C4D (new) particles, bake the sim and then move it around in the viewport, the sim stays in the same position in the Live Viewer. The change doesn't seem to register for Octane.

Re: Render stuck at 99%

Hi Beppe,

I'm using the 2021.1.4 version of the C4D plugin, mostly using the ORBX exporter.

Re: Render stuck at 99%

It wasn't like that before, but recently most of my renders with RNDR are stuck at 99%, with one frame blocking the whole thing. Support told me the frame was sent to new nodes for infinity . They confirmed with me that I had an unusual number of errors in my renders. So I have to cancel most of my ...

Render stuck at 99%

It happens more often than I would expect. Some renders are almost complete pretty fast, except for one or two frames (priority mode). And then it seems like it's stuck at 98% or 99%.
I'm having this situation again (stuck since 24h) and I wonder why it's not possible to just pay and download the ...

Re: Nested dielectrics ... for dummies.

In this new render with more bubbles it's easier to see the dark spots I was talking about when normals are reversed

Re: Nested dielectrics ... for dummies.

Respectfully reopening this subject because I'm constantly facing this situation with nested dielectrics, water and bubbles (working for cosmetics).
Here are a few renders. I think, according to your chart, that the correct one is the bottom left one, am I correct?

128 specular bounces, IOR for ...

Re: Black refractions?

Hi Beppe,

Actually you solved this: I didn't know we I could chose the version used by RNDR, thought it was automatic.
It was the C4D plugin build 2021.1.4, and the matching standalone 2021.1.4

Sorry for the dumb question, and thank you for answering!
Adrien
