Re: Nuke 11.0V2 Support
Hello! I am unable to get this working properly on 11.1v2 as well on OSX 10.11.3. It only seems to work in 11.0v1, but the ocs writer doesn't work.
Any ideas?
thank you,
Jason

render bugs
I have been getting lots of render errors when rendering inside Nuke. I get a lot of duplicate frames and fluctuating sample rates. When I render as a frame sequence, I always get errors. If I render as a quicktime movie, it seems to work, though. The workaround I found is to add an extra quicktime ...

Re: Motion blur
Ok! This is starting to work. I am having another problem, though, and that is the ocs file I save out has no textures. I applied all my surfaces with octane material nodes inside Nuke, but what I load the ocs back into Nuke or into Octane standalone, they are all gone.

I see. Well, I don’t have a whole lot of experience with this yet, but here is my thinking…

Re: Background render crash
Just to say that if I submit a nuke script to background render, it will crash if there is an octane render node in that script. I understand why Octane would not render in the background, but if I disable the node and use a cached render in my comp, the presence of the Octane node in my script ...

Background render crash
It seems a script containing an Octane render node will crash a background render, even if that node is disabled.
As I am pre-rendering Octane nodes and submitting scripts to the background, I would like to be able to simply disable Octane for that purpose.
thanks,
~Jason

Re: Motion blur
Ah. This brings me to the next problem that I'm having. When I try to write a .ocs file form a write node I get the error: "no plugin named "ocsWriter" found."
The file type is also not selectable from the menu.
