maybe someone with a little more knowledge about Octane can help me out here:
I'm trying to recreate a black plastic material similar to this:

More realistic black material on white background
Hi guys!
I'm pretty new to octane and I have a few questions about black materials.
I'm currently creating product assets for a new product we're about to sell which consists of a pretty black material.

Hi guys,
I'm currently trying to flat-map a texture onto another. My problem is that I either get tiling if I don't change the border mode, which is not what I want,
or the underlaying texture get's hidden.
Are there any solutions to that problem?
I'd like to display my flat-mapped texture once ...

Re: Render Layer problem
I'm thinking it's something to do with your mapping and tone mapping things.
Can you post an image of your render settings (Ctrl/CMD+B) and camera imager settings?
I'm using basic settings except for the samples, alpha channel turned on and a removed environment.
Edit:

Render Layer problem
Hi guys,
already found some threads on this topic, but the answers there either didn't help me or there were none.
I have some problems catching the shadows of an object using the render layer system. Instead of a shadow
on a transparent plane I get something like a halftransparten plane with a ...
