I am unsure, if I missunderstood something:

Of course i can save the desired pass as it should, meaning the saved file looks as a beauty or denoised beauty should look like.

But: I thought it would be usefull to blend them afterwards in the post as needed ...

Also, are Octane 4 owners going to have a R23 compatible version?

Latest C4D version supported by v4 is R21.
Now we are at v8(2020.1), S22 and R23 cannot have a v4, v5, ecc. versions.
The first version supporting R23 will be 2020.1 only.

I wouldnt count on this.
S22 needs newer Nvidia drivers on which Octane v4 does not run good at all. They would need to update v4 to Optix7 (v4 uses optix6) and I don't think they will do that anymore.

Is that why octane 4 keeps crashing C4D R21? because I'm using the latest Nvidia Studio driver ...

Me too. Installed Octane on Cinema 4D S22.016 and the Octane menu is empty.

I have the same problem. Nothing works. I've tried toggling info and show GPU info. I've checked setting > other and all check boxes are on.
I have Octane 3.05.3 full version and Nvidia quadro M4000. I even updated my GPU driver just in case.

Is it a known issue or just me?

Sorry I'm new to this and learning as I go...

I do have both Xeons installed.

I think I'll wait for the mew 1080Ti and get a new PSU to support the 2 new cards and probably use my M4000 for display like you suggested.
