btw, Redshift is known to not free up VRAM. Best is to restart C4D before using Octane
And make sure RS isn't running, which can happen when an RS material is created. Happened to me before

It was on "Resend only updated objects". After changing it it now works. Thank you for the hint, stupid mistake on my side...
