OK, I've figured it out, thanks for the advice @bepeg4d
All I did was:
1. Internet Options
2. Click on Connections Tab
3. LAN Settings
4. Automatically detect settings (mine was on "use proxy server for LAN...')
Also, I used wifi instead of the network but I don't think that would have an issue?

I dont know how switching DNS is going to solve this, all our other machines are running on the same network with no issue. Anyone else have ideas?
