Re: Residential project in Almaty

Quite nice atmosphere :) What a great place to live, if those mountains are actually visible there :D

The courtyard is way to intense to me, I would prefer less objects and more harmony in there.

Re: Grow House

From the distance it looks like a stack of potato crisps :P
Hard to comment, materials look great. The first wrong thing I noticed is overlapping hands.

Yea, I did this render few months ago and I thought it was fine, but now I can see that background is weird. Guess I can call it a "progress" :P

Re: (WIP) Near the forest / single family house

Thanks for the comment :)
Perhaps a light source coming from the left and behind the house would do.
Was trying to figure it out that way, but I really like the feel of the right side of this image.
Grass patch is it intentional?
Not really, I am still experimenting with Octane Scatter. I'm ...

(WIP) Near the forest / single family house

Hello,
this one is going to get 2 renders (also from the back). This one is definitely too dark. Partially it's post production fault - I still can't get Linear Workflow and color profiles to work ^^

Would appreciate any comments

Done in Octane for c4d and Photoshop
The house design was created by Domowe Klimaty - architectural office. It's really small house (about 70 sq. meters usage area), supposed to be very cheap.

When I remove displacement, it looks OK. Any workaround possible?

Octane noise shader tiling in UV prpojection

Hello,

maybe anyone knows what am I doing wrong.

I created some snow material for my scene and it was working pretty well, until I applied it as UV mapped. The reason I do this is that I want to paint some footsteps in Bodypaint and apply them as displacement.
