Hey everyone,
I've been running octane for a while perfectly fine with a 1080ti hybrid and a 2080ti blower. I just added another 2080ti blower to the mix (same sku), and have had nothing but trouble.
After updating C4D, Octane, and Nvidia, I was able to start rendering but only for about 20 ...

Volume Toon Shading
Hey everyone!
Simple problem with no solution so far. I'm looking to shade a VDB sequence with just two colors, a base and an outline. However I can't seem to find a way to force the toon shader to handle this.
Any ideas?

Hey guys,
Got this weird error when cloning VDB objects together.
Messing with density or volume step length doesn't solve it. Any ideas?

Re: Uncontrollable Camera Shake in Large Scene
Makes sense! Changing the shutter speed however doesn't seem to work for me on my end.

Uncontrollable Camera Shake in Large Scene
Hey guys,
Have this weird issue I can't seem to reliably solve. Animating a simple camera on the Y axis and along a spline in a pretty big scene, but it shakes if there are any keyframes on the Y.
I've uploaded the file with three cameras, one with just the Y, one on the spline, and one with both ...

Re: XP Motion Blur Issue: Live Viewer vs Render
Sorta fixed it.
XP generator wasn't working but going directly to the emitter with an object tag gave me the results I wanted.
Does this mean you can't generate motion blur for XP generator particles?

XP Motion Blur Issue: Live Viewer vs Render
Hey guys,
I just got a license of X-Particles last week and just getting a good feel for the software before I use it for production work. I've done several octane renders with motion blur with consistent results, but now I'm running into issues.
