ok i figured it out
if i use the render node editor and then apply the "Add chromatic aberration" to all the light passes and the post effects pass then it works. plus i removed the chromatic aberration intensity off the post effects.

when i render out of octane i usually render all the lights separately and then bring them all back together in AE so i can have individual control of each light.

This morning i had a sceen in C4d using v4 XB3 and it was taking 12min to render
i updated to the latest version XB4, re opened the scene and hit render, now it takes 2hours and 45min
all my cards are still selected in ...

If you submit the job to dealine from octane standalone then all you need is octane standalone on your pc and slaves.
If you submit the job from Maya to deadline then you need both the stand alone and plugin version of octane on all the slaves

I landed up creating one texture map with both the creases and the leather texture and using it as a normal map. that seamed to give me the best results.
I tried all kinds of configirations using bump, distortion, normal, mix material and in the end was just easier to have one image file ...
