Any ETA on when this could be fixed? It's fairly essential for almost anything to have proper motionblur.

Otherwise I'm extremely happy with the ORBX exporter in Houdini. This is really the one thing I'm desparately needing as there is little control in standalone over object motionblur.

I'm having the same issue as James - but I also can not do this because the camera is moving a bit. In my case it's motionblur generated by trails of objects scattered on points which are moving. I can't share the scene unfortunately as it is under NDA. But I'm guessing the root cause is the same ...

Whenever a scene needs OOC meory, I am getting errors like
"CUDA error 2 on device 0: out of memory"
"Failed to allocate page-locked memory"
"No device pointer for out-of-core memory"
"Render engine failure occurred"

Hello everybody,

while doing some tests with this release I noticed a change in looks. Using Pathtracing with the very same settings but with and without RTX I can see stronger reflections with RTX active. Although this is expected from games using RTX I did not expect to get different visuals ...

Any idea when network rendering is going to be a possibility again?

We will make available the slave build in one of the next releases.


Any idea when that will be? I'd rather it not work sometimes now, but still have it then troubleshooting exported C4D scenes all the time.

Any idea when network rendering is going to be a possibility again?
I would love to try rendering my scenes on my node without having to export them all the time.

On the standalone I cannot get multipass rendering to render as well, it just gets stuck at the end of the first frame and doesn't move ...

We're going to have to clone Ahmet so the clone can start working on updates for the standalone 2019.2 too, they would be finished in a week! :D Thanks man for the update!

First thanks for appreciations. I have a sdk and wip build for 2019.2 but I don't feel it's ready to publish. Because it's very crash friendly, having many crashes on many operations. And needs a better sdk for public I believe.

Ah! That makes total sense. Again thanks for all the effort ...

No, v4 Studio was the exception, with max 20 GPUs + Net render.
Normally Studio v3, v2018, and v2019 have a limit of max 2x GPUs without Net Render.
