to test a card? Sure.
Just remove all the other cards and use that one on a render stress test for a few hours, see if it fails.

Re: Constant Cuda errors on Slave - can't fix it.
Had similar issues and some of the same errors in slave windows.
Has happened to me across multiple slaves / different hardware.
Drivers seem to be a common factor in my experience. I run the oldest and most stable driver that the current octane version allows.

Cards disappear
Hi there
Has anyone else experienced this?
I run a slave with 6 cards. Everything works, other machines see the slave and rendering starts.
At some point.. some of the cards are no longer rendering. The console window on the slave shows no error or change. If I view slaves from a workstation, I ...

VDB playback
Hi all.
Probably super easy question to answer. Do we have anything in C4D octane to control VDB playback speed?
For example, load in smoke sim, and set playback speed to 200%
Thanks!

Re: TFD motion blur
For anyone else stuck with this.
Make sure you cache velocity when you simulate.
Turn on use motion blur in octane object tag.
Play with velocity scale until you see it working in live viewer.

Re: Cuda error 702
Hi guys
I found that rolling back to some 2017 drivers on the slave machine caused it to become stable for network rendering.
However, if i use the GPU's locally in cinema4d on that machine, I get a crash.
If I update to latest drivers, local use of the GPU's seems stable, but 702 occurs on net ...

TFD motion blur
Hi there.
There is an option in c4d octane to "use motion blur" when rendering voxels. If I'm using TFD is there anything special I have to do to see motion blur?
I have a simulation and I've cached velocity but see only camera motion blur. Wondering if I'm missing something.

Re: Camera Motion Blur OFF
Hey aoktar
Is this likely to come out soon, even on a test build?
Be handy to know whether to wait.
Thanks

Re: Render times with xpCache rise every frame
Thanks Aoktar.
I can't send the scene, but if I get chance I'll replicate the same thing in a clean scene and send that.
