Z-Depth w/TFD
Hi all,
I've got a scene ready to render here with some smoke in the scene as shown here https://gyazo.com/8f03d94850ca262d589f0727ffeb7634
I want to make a depth pass to AE to composite with Frischluft, but for some reason, the particles do not come up the pass. TFD is not something I use very ...

Re: Recurring picture viewer error
after running even more tests, i have come to the conclusion that it can render to the picture viewer perfectly fine when i disable motion blur on my camera. Although, turning it on is causing it to crash over and over again.
I even tried making a new camera, but just having motion blur on seems to ...

Recurring picture viewer error
For the past two days, I've been dealing with this picture viewer error saying octane keeps crashing on me. After restarting and shutting down my PC several times today,
I figured that might give my gpu some kind of rest (since i thought that was the issue).
I've provided an unlisted youtube link ...

Re: Unwanted motion blur with the Stage object
I'm having this same issue with the stage object, and I can't really cut these frames out since I need the exact amount of frames when I export everything to AE.
But it's great knowing that others are aware of this issue and hope it can be resolved soon =)

C4D stages and Octane
Hi,
So I am working with a scene that has a stage system allowing me to have multiple camera angles changes without rendering multiple sequences.

Octane Motion Blur for C4D
So I've been trying to get motion blur to work and I cant really grasp an understanding of the settings. No matter what shutter, time shift or shutter alignment I put, it has bizarre looking results that do not look anything like physical motion blur. So I was wondering if there are any physically ...

Turbulence FD and Octane v3
Hello,
I just recently got my hands on the full version of Octane v3 for Cinema 4D. I can honestly say it is great! Although, when I was experimenting with Turbulence FD simulations, things were a bit off. It seemed that no matter what TFD shaders and emission channels you had enabled, the render ...
