Hi, I am trying to implement a custom parameter with an octane ROP. Something "à la" 3dsmax, where you can specify a custom sequence of frames to render ( i.e 100, 105, 120-125 to render frame 100, then 105, and from frame 120 to 125 )
My first instinct was to use the pre-frame script param.
Is ...

issue with custom hda for octane material
Hi ,
I have an issue with an old hda I made to translate Cd attribute into 2 uvs attributes.
Anyway the content of the hda is not the issue.
I remember it working perfectly some months ago. And now Houdini complains when i try instance that hda inside an Octane Material Builder, I have an error ...

Crash during render
Hi , I experience some crashes during octane renders. Houdini closes straight. Octane sometimes complains about " trying to acces null nodes" or something ressembling that.
It seems pretty random.
Using Octane for Houdini 4.02.1
I am on windows 10, using H17.5.173,
Nvidia drivers : 25.21.14.1935

Re: OctaneRender™ 3.0 for Houdini™ - test build 3.08.0.7 RC1
Hi Juanjo, I would love to try this new release, but Octane can't find my GPUs, no error message before that, octane HDAs loaded fine.
I never had this issue before. Any idea ?

IPR needs reset on noise param change
Hi
when using IPR viewer, there is an issue when updating some parameters on a noise mat node : the noise disappears totally, and I have to hit "reload" to see changes in the shader. That is pretty annoying when reloading takes several seconds, it even becomes rather unusable.

I meant a boilerplate for the osl code.
Could you perhaps post the os file you are using in the example you posted, to give a starting point.
This is a very basic osl texture that should work without problems.
Thanks,

Thanks a lot for the hard work
Any boilerplate for the osl shop nodes ?
I am trying to play with the osl texture node, but can't get any result ( or any error btw ... which is even weirder ... )
