I'd also _really_ like to see MaterialX fully supported, will be extremely valuable. I believe I did see a mention that support for it was coming as part of the Octane 2022 roadmap though.

Hey all,

I've been testing out some more workflows recently and I've got a bit of feedback to share; mainly using a lot of Octane Standalone (to access development builds, full feature set and because the scene updates are a bit faster).

I find it useful to assemble a scene in Solaris ...

I've been testing the new Standard Surface material and I really like it! The option for "Depth" under Transmission is extremely helpful to get some looks I've been unable to create with the Universal Material. Awesome! But I downloaded the Studio subscription build but its asking me for an enterprise license?

EDIT: demo license works but seems the studio zip is a copy of enterprise ;)

Found a bug in this build; when reading in an animated USD scene (transform, not deform), it works correctly in the render viewport but gets stuck on frame 1 when trying to batch render output. Alembic scenes work fine but USD stuck on frame 1.

Playing with roughness a bit more and added a Sheen layer, the sheen produced the bounce light back onto the ground, but with an extra unwanted reflection on the prism.

The this is with 10000 samples 3min render time
