Thanks for your quick reply - as always - so we have to wait a little and
play with the beast in the meantime.

Just seeing the release of 3.06 instead of 3.1 shows us clearly that there
is a long way to go - but 3.1 would be so important with AS and denoise.

I have downloaded and installed the new beast 16.0.504.20 right in this moment.

You have stated we are able to run at day of H16 release - where I can find the right OR build for OS X 16.0.504.20 ? - the current one is for H15.5

In the downloaded H16 Folder was another alias folder ...

as you know the new Houdini 16 is a beast and there are so many changes - so a few questions to octane related things:

1. Is Houdini 16 supported from its release day? Also the Indie version?

2. Are all the new things like terrain, boolean shatter and ocean procedurals supported ...

PLEASE - OTOY make a different pricing structure, so it is the same fairness between WIN and MAC users
and between big and little studios.

There are a lot of freaks here try to get eGPU working on a MAC and much better is to have a PC for render.

Thank you so much for your always fast houdini plugin support - cool ideas to
get things working with octane - also face_off did great things with MODO.

But to be honest - you plugin devs always rely on octane dev cycle and cannot

Thanks a lot for this update - the particle spheres are really cool.

To set a color by fill the material tab in geo node works.
Is there now a way to colorize the particles with gradients for random ID
or by age for start and end colors of particle life - or is this 3.1 stuff?
