Re: C4D Crash and Refuse to Open
Same wintab32.dll error here. It is totally annoying and it makes it impossible to work. Just a theory... do you have a tablet? what brand? I read a guy on Reddit saying the Huion tablet driver made c4d crash, I have uninstalled and disconnected my tablet and will keep you posted on the result.

@aoktar don't get stressed, we customers/users should be handled by customer service and you be left in peace to develop without everyone nagging.
Having a direct line to the developer is a great service/tool and we, as users should learn how to deal and behave politely and humanly.

Re: Converting Octane Materials back to C4D counterparts
I'm lost on this one. How do you use a script like this??
Hey Andy, I already replied to you mail, but here you have also the same reply plus the .py file:
To run a user script you need to go to Extensions / user scripts/ Run script inside C4D

Re: Converting Octane Materials back to C4D counterparts
There is a user in Maxon forums named Graeme MacDougall that wrote this script, I've tried it and it works:

Re: How the heck do I re-up my license??
I'm a freelancer with only one 2 GPU machine. Are you really telling me the upgrade from my v4 perpetual license (which is already an upgrade from my previous licenses) is 499€, same price as buying from cero Redshift ?

Re: Texture Manager Bug in R20
Hello,
I have the same problem with R20. Under windows 10,2 gtx980TI,32gb ram, latest NVIDIA driver, latest update of C4D, latest octane R4 plugin and standalone, and still fails. It does relink files that are not Octane materials and keeps those. But the textures that go inside an octane material ...

Re: Unwanted "Bonus" Passes with A.I. Denoiser + Layermasks
I use color passes un full channel colors, I only get 3 masks of full gray range but they do not produce any unwanted staircases on the edges. If you set each of the 3 possible passes one to full R, the other to full G and the other to full B, you get a RGB Image (a single one) that you can use un ...

Re: OctaneRender V4 XB3
Hey guys I spotted a bug. I am re-rendering a file from a one-year-old project and I get a different result than the one I had before. Basically my camera goes through an area light. The light is not visible to camera, nor to shadows and the general visibility (for keeping it safe) is also at 0. I ...

Re: ISS space collision
Hey @adamgr7 thanks, it was rendered with V3, with direct light, the animation took so long (it's 3000 frames long) and the result was a bit noisy. I did try with r4 40 samples and denoiser (the scene is quite intense) and it stopped a few times. Finally I did a 210 samples render with denoise in r4 ...
