Re: Cinema 4D version 4.00 (stable)
Cinema 4d R20 still problem with Octane object tag on spline. Aoktar, could you check it on R20? We tested it on R19 - works ok, but not R20.

Re: Cinema 4D version 4.00 (stable)
When using Octane object with "Hair rendering" tag on Spline octane wont update position of this spline.
Changing scale of spline is ok, but when you are trying to move it around - no update.
Force update enabled.
Help! =(
Many possibilities! Of course, I need a scene.
Just create a empty scene ...

Re: Cinema 4D version 4.00 (stable)
Hello Ahmet,
I saw you mentioned something about not using the monitor GPU for rendering. I will give that a go, even though I'm not too happy about not being able to use one of the graphic cards, that will slow things down.
Agree, a want use all my GPU too...looks like in my case octane cant ...

Heh....i'm already using Out of Core. It says ~2gb is Out of Core.bepeg4d wrote:Hi,
it seems that you have only ~4.5GB of VRAM available, so at least you can load less than ~20M polys, try to use Out-of-core geometry, if you have enough RAM.
ciao Beppe
I have 40gb ram

Re: Cinema 4D version 4.00 (stable)
Cant figure out how to make octane work with heavy scenes. For test i created a scene with a couple of highpoly models, 30m polys in my scene.
And octane keep crashing with a message "Try to decrease polygon counts". How should i work with heavy scenes, if octane cant handle 30m polygons?

I have 1070+1080 (both 8gb vram).aoktar wrote:It can handle as you have VRAM+RAM. I have gone more than 60m polygons.Cheiser wrote:Octane cant handle 32m triangles. Will be stable verision handle this amount of polygons?
And 40gb RAM
Octane crashed
Cant share my scene
I just testing octane polycount capability
